A dedicated B2B sourcing desk

Built for commercial
buyers in United States.

U.S. buying teams need more than a polished sample photo. We help prepare comparable Japanese sourcing proposals for commercial applications—without claiming to operate a domestic U.S. warehouse.

01 / BUYER ROUTE

Importers & ingredient distributors

Build a supplementary Japanese supply route for established U.S. distribution accounts, including 100kg+ shipment enquiries and repeat-order planning.

02 / BUYER ROUTE

Café chains & food manufacturers

Compare latte-grade profiles, use in milk, recipe costs, production needs and consistent specifications for multi-site or manufacturing demand.

03 / BUYER ROUTE

Hotel groups & F&B operators

Begin with a restaurant or lounge pilot; consider hotel-branded matcha retail and broader property procurement after trials.

SECOND SOURCE · COMMERCIAL GRADE · LOT REVIEW

Keep your supplier.
Build a second route.

We work across Japanese sourcing and packaging partners to shortlist candidates by your actual use and buying constraints—not a single universal “ceremonial grade.”

FDA · FSVP · FOOD IMPORT DOCUMENTS

What U.S. importers should review

U.S. commercial import compliance is the importer’s responsibility, with FDA and customs requirements that depend on the selected food, facility and shipment. We help organise a sourcing brief and available Japanese partner information for your importer to assess.

FDA-related checks

Confirm applicable foreign food-facility registration, Prior Notice and labeling requirements for the actual shipping route.

FSVP & supplier review

Identify the U.S. FSVP importer and the records needed to evaluate the selected foreign food supplier, where FSVP applies.

Lot & commercial documents

Request the selected product specification, batch/lot identity, available COA and testing scope, packaging and named Incoterm.

HOTELS · RESORTS · HOSPITALITY GROUPS

Matcha for guests.
Procurement for groups.

Hotels can start with a restaurant, breakfast or lounge trial, then explore group F&B purchasing or hotel-branded tins, pouches and gifts. We can coordinate with a local food distributor when the operator already has a purchasing route.

A useful quotation, not a generic price promise

Compare supply routes, not just a price per kilogram.

A U.S. buyer’s quote should identify the actual matcha profile, commercial lot, packaging, importer responsibilities and agreed shipping scope. MATCHA PORT does not claim U.S. warehousing or a universal delivered price.

Purchasing FAQs

Questions from United States buyers.

Can you source Japanese matcha in 100kg or 500kg quantities for the U.S.?

We welcome RFQs at 100kg, 500kg and recurring volumes. Available supply is assessed by grade, season, production partner, commercial lot and shipment terms before any order commitment.

Can you replace an existing supplier without changing our current blend?

We can compare potential second-source profiles. We do not assume an alternative will match an existing blend; sample evaluation and the agreed specification come first.

Who handles FDA and FSVP requirements?

The U.S. importer and responsible parties must determine which FDA food facility, Prior Notice, FSVP and labeling rules apply. We can coordinate available Japanese supplier and product documents, without guaranteeing U.S. import clearance.

Can a U.S. hotel group try matcha at one property?

Yes. We can discuss a one-property F&B evaluation before any wider hotel purchasing programme. Hotel-branded tins, pouches and guest gifts are separate private-label projects.

Do you have a U.S. warehouse or fixed landed pricing?

We are a Japan-based sourcing desk. We do not claim U.S. stock or fixed door-delivered prices. Your quotation states the actual product, shipment scope, currency, destination and Incoterm.
